Abagel Plus for horses: is an easy to administer gel and is safe to use in horses of all ages including lactating mares or at any stage of pregnancy. It will not adversely affect the fertility of Stallions

Indications

Abagel Plus for Horses kills gastrointestinal roundworms, including the arterial stages on Strongylus vulgaris, small strongyles (including benzimidazole resistant strains), lungworm, bots and tapeworms in horses.

Abagel Plus for Horses, given at the recommended dose rate in indicated for the treatment and control of the following internal parasites of horses

Large Strongyles (redworms): adults and arterial larval stages of Strongylus vulgaris, adult and tissue larval stages of S. edentatus, adult of S. equinus and Triodontophorus spp.

Adult and immature small strongylus (redworms) Cyathostomum spp., Cylicocyclus spp., Cylicostephanus spp., Cylicodontophorus spp., Gyalocephalus spp.

Adult and immature lungworm Dictyocaulus arnfieldi.

Pinworms Adult and immature Oxyuris equi.

Ascarids Adult and immature Parascaris equorum.

Stomach worms Adult Trichostrongyloides axei, Habronema muscae

Intestinal treadworms Strongyloides westeri

Oral and gastric stages of bots Gasterophilus spp.

Tapeworms Anoplocephala perfoliata

Dose Rate

1 x syringe is sufficient to treat 600kg of bodyweight, one syringe division of gel per 100kg bodyweight

Withholding Period

MEAT: Horses producing meat or offal for human consumption must not be sold for slaughter wither during treatment or within 63 days of the last treatment

Abagel Plus for Horses has been formulated for use in horses only, It should not be used in other species as severe adverse reactions, including fatalities in dog, may occur
