Abamectin, Levamisole, Cobalt and Selenium
2 g/L Abamectin, 80 g/L Levamisole HCI, 5 g/mL Cobalt, and 1 g/L Selenium
Active+ Duple Oral contains abamectin, a member of the macrocyclic lactone (ML) drench family and levamisole hydrochloride, a member of the levamisole (clear) drench family. Also contains chelated cobalt and sodium selenate.
Duple Oral Drench at recommended dose, this product is effective for the treatment and control of the following.
Gastrointestinal roundworms:
ABOMASUM: Haemonchus contortus ( Barber’s Pole), Teladorsagia circumcincta ( Small Brown Stomach worm) Trichostrongylus axei (Stomach Hair worm)
SMALL INTESTINE: Trichostrongylus colubriformis vitrinus ( Black Scour worm), Cooperia curticei ( Small Intestinal worm), Nematodirus filicollis spathiger (Thin-necked Intestinal Worm), Bunostomum Strongyloides papillosus (Hookworm)
LARGE INTESTINE: Oesophagostomum venulosum (Large Bowel Worm), Chabertia ovina (Large-Mouthed Bowel Worm), Trichuris ovis (Whipworm)
LUNGWORM: Dictyocaulus fileria.
Directions for use
Shake well before use
Do not use in lambs under 20kg or under 4 weeks of age
A representative sample of animals should be weighed before treatment
Do not underdose. Correct drenching technique should be used. Check the accuracy of drench guns regularly.

Note this drench is in a concentrated form.
Doses of 3 or more times those recommended can cause symptoms
of levamisole toxicity, so estimate live weights carefully.
Animals under stress due to advanced pregnancy, adverse weather conditions or poor nutrition, prolonged yarding or dehydration may be more susceptible to toxicity
Do not use at the same time as any other selenised fertilizer, prill or product without consulting a veterinarian
Fatal interactions may occur between levamisole and organophosphate dips.
MEAT: Sheep producing meat or offal for human consumption must not be sold for slaughter during or within 14 days of the last treatment.
MILK: Milk intended for sale for human consumption must be discarded during treatment and for not less than 35 days following the last treatment,
