Crops and Situations
Forestry tree release: Scorp EC may be applied over forestry species including Radiata pine Eucalyptus species. To control broadleaf weeds in Radiata pine, atrazine and simazine, terbuthylazine and clopyralid herbicides may be added. To control broadleaf weeds in Eucalyptus species, clopyralid may be added. Do not add spraying oil to mixtures of Scorp EC with either clopyralid or terbuthylazine herbicides.
Tree nurseries: Scorp EC may be applied over seedling Radiata pine, Eucalyptus, Acacia, Casuarina and other seedling plantation and ornamental tree species. Where there is no previous experience, apply Scorp EC over a few plants before treating larger areas. Do not add spraying oil.
Lucerne, clover: Apply Scorp EC in mixture with spraying oil.
Pipfruit, citrus: Scorp EC, in mixture with spraying oil, should be applied as a directed spray around the base of the trees, to avoid direct contact with the fruit.
Peas, lentils: Apply Scorp EC at no more than 1.5L/ha. Do not add spraying oil.
Asparagus: Apply Scorp EC, in mixture with spraying oil, after the final cut.
Onions: Apply Scorp EC, at no more than 1.5 litres/ha, in mixture with spraying oil.
