Cydectin Plus Fluke Pour-on

Cattle: For the treatment and control of Liver Fluke, internal and external parasites of cattle, including the following Haemonchus Contortus (Barber’s Pole), Ostertagia Ostertagi (O.lyrata) (Small brown stomach worm including inhibited), Trichostrongylus axei (stomach hair worm) Trichostrongylus Colubriformis (black scour worm), Trichostrongylus Longispicularis, Cooperia oncophora (small intestinal worm), Cooperia punctata, Oesophagostomum radiatum (nodule worm) Bunostomum phebotomum (hookworm)

Lungworms ( immature and adult ): Dictyocaulus viviparus

Sucking and Biting Lice: Linognanthus vituli, Haematopinus erysternus, Solenopotes capillatus; Bovicola bovis

Mites: Chirioptes bovis.

Liver Fluke: Fasciola hepatica (immature and mature stages)

Persistent Activity: Given at the recommended dose rate, Cydectin Plus Fluke effectively controls infections with  Dictyocaulus viviparus – 42 days, Ostertagia Ostertagi – 35 days,  Haemonchus spp. & Trichostrongylus axei – 28 days, Oesophagostomum radiatum & Bunostomum phebotomum – 42 days

Administration

Cydectin Plus Fluke Pour-on is a ready to use solution. Apply topically along the midline of the back from the withers to the base of the tail, weigh animals before dosing, choose dose according to the weight of the heaviest animal. Do not underdose. Where there is a large variation in size within the group, draft into two or more lines based on body weight. Check accuracy of applicator regularly

DOSE RATE: 1ml per 10kg bodyweight

Rainfast: The efficacy of Cydectin Plus Fluke is not adversely affected if applied when the hide is wet, or if rain occurs shortly after the application. However treatment of animals under these circumstances is not recommended practice

Withholding Periods

Meat: Cattle producing meat and offal for human consumption must not be slaughtered within 84 days after treatment

Milk: Milk intended for sale for human consumption must be discarded during treatment and for not less than 84 days following the last treatment
