Epi Pour-on for Cattle & Deer is a ready to use solution containing Eprinomectin 5g/L, a broad-spectrum antiparasitic treatment for cattle and deer.
Indications
Cattle: For the treatment and control in all ages of beef and dairy cattle ( including lactating cows ) of:
Gastrointestinal roundworms, adult and immature forms unless otherwise stated:
Ostertagia ostertagi (including inhibited immature), Ostertagia lyrata (Adult Only), Haemonchus contortus, Tristrongylus axei, Trichostrongylus colubriformis, Nematodirus helvetianus, Oesophagostomum radiatum, Trichuris discolour (Adult Only), Bunostomum phlebotomum (hookworm) Trichuris globulosa (Adult Only) Cooperia oncophora, Cooperia punctate, Cooperia surnabada
Lungworms (immature and adult): Dictyocaulus viviparus
Mites: Chorioptes bovis, Sarcopotes scabiei var bovis
Sucking & Biting Lice: Linognathus vituli, Haematopinus eurysternus, Solenopotes capillatus; Bovicola bovis
Persistent Activity: Given at the recommended dose rate, Epi Pour-On effectively controls infections with Ostertagia spp. acquired up to 28 days, Cooperia spp. 21 days, Nematodirus helvetianus 14 days, Oesophagostomum radiatum 28 days, Haemonchus contortus 14 days, Trichostrongylus spp. 14 days, and Dictyocaulus viviparus acquired up to 28 days after treatment.
Administration
Epi is for pour-on application only. Apply along the topline in a narrow strip extending from the withers to the tailhead. Use the following dosage schedule. A representative sample of animals should be weighed before treatment either with scales or a weighband. Dose rate to be based on heaviest cattle in each group. Do not underdose. Correct drenching techniques should be used. NOTE TO USER: Rainfall before or after treatment will not affect the efficacy of Active+ Epi Pour-On for Cattle and deer. Close container when not in use. Do not apply to areas of the backline covered with mud or manure. Do not give orally or by injection.
