Description

Cymoxi Selenised Oral Sheep drench containing Moxidectin and Selenium, for treatment of gastrointestinal and Pulmonary Nematodes and Itchmite of Sheep.

Indications

Active Constituent: 1 mg/mL Moxidectin, 0.5 mg/mL Selenium, Benzyl Alcohol <50 mg/mL

FOR THE TREATMENT Gastrointestinal Parasites, Adult and Immature stages of: Haemonchus contortus, Teladorsagia circumcincta, Ostertagia trifurcata, Trichostrongylus axei, Trichostrongylus colubriformis, Trichostrongylus vitrinus, Nematodirus spathiger, Nematodirus filicollis, Cooperia curticei (adults only) Cooperia punctata (adults only), Oesophagostomum venulosum (adults only), chabertia ovina, Trichuris ovis (adult only), Strongyloides papillosus, (adult only) Inhibited ( or hypobiotic) larvae of  Haemonchus, Ostertagia and Trichostrongylus

Lungworm: Dictycaulus filaria ( Adult and immature)

External Parasites: Psoregates ovis (itchmite)

CyMoxi when used at the recommended dose rate prevents reinfection with Haemonchus contortus for 35 days and Teladorsagia circumcincta for at least 21 days following a single dose

Invert container or pack 3 times before use. Shake well before use. Use through standard drenching equipment. Correct drenching technique should be used  It is important to give the correct dose and check accuracy of drench guns regularly.

Withholding Periods

MEAT: Sheep  producing meat or offal for sale for human consumption must not be sold for slaughtered during or within 10 days of the last treatment

MILK: Milk intended for sale for human consumption must be discarded during treatment and for 35 days following the last treatment

Indications

  • Cymoxi is not recommended for use in goats as safety and efficacy have not been evaluated
  • CyMoxi Oral is safe to use concurrently with other treatments in sheep including non-selenised mineral supplements, fluke treatments and vaccines.
  • Do not use at the same time as other selenised fertiliser, prill, or product without consulting a veterinarian
  • Do no exceed the stated dose rate, or dose more frequently than 3-weekly.
