- Use high water rates and large droplets to ensure penetration into growth crown of the weeds.
- Add a spreader/sticker.
- Paraquat, applied at least two weeks before Troy 480SL treatment will improve results provided weeds are actively growing at the time of Troy 480SL treatment.
- Spraying during warm weather gives best results.

When crop has 1-2 trifoliate leaves and weeds are at cotyledon to 4 leaf stage. |

Some transient leaf scorch may occur, but yield is unlikely to be affected. Do not apply to crops before 1 trifoliate (true) leaf stage and avoid hot conditions (above 21°C). Use higher rates on more mature weeds. Add a spreader-sticker to enhance activity on Thorn apple and hairy nightshade. |

Apply when weeds are still seedlings and onions are waxy and healthy.
- Do not apply when soil is water logged.
- Do not add surfactants.
- Do not apply when onions are damaged by hail, frost, heavy rain, wind etc.
- Do not apply other herbicides for 10 days before or after Troy 480SL application.
