Active Ingredients

Each mL contains 10mg Ivermectin and 100mg Clorsulon

Indications

i-Clor contains ivermectin, a member of the macrocyclic lactone family. It is effective against strains of internal and external parasites sensitive to this family. Also contains clorsulon, a benzenesulphonamide, which kills flukes by inhibiting their glycolytic pathway enzymes when ingested

Gastrointestinal roundworms: Ostertagia ostertagi (including inhibited fourth stage larvae), O lyrata,  Trichostrongylus axei- Stomach hair worm, T colubriformis- Intestinal hair worm Cooperia oncophora * Cooperia punctata, Bunostomum phlebotomum – Hookworm Oesophagostomum radiatum – Nodule worm, Nematodirus helvetianus, N. spathiger- Thin necked intestinal worm Trichuris spp – Whipworm.

Lungworms: adult and fourth stage larvae Dictyocaulus viviparus.

Liver fluke: Fasciola hepatica (adults)

Sucking Lice, Linognathus vituli, Haematopinus erysternus, Solenopotes capillatus

Mites  Psoroptes spp.

Persistant Activity: Ostertagia spp – 14 days, Cooperia – 7 days and Distyocaulus vivaparus and Oesophagostomum radiatum – 21 days. i-Clor aid in the control  of: Biting Lice (Bovicola bovis) and Mites (Chorioptes bovis).

Administration

i-Clor Injection is ready to use solution for subcutaneous Injection in the anterior half of the neck.   Intramuscular injection will result in prolonged residues.  Where intramuscular injection may have occurred, animals producing meat and offal for human consumption must not be sold for slaughter within 91 days of the last treatment

 

Before dosing, a representative sample of animals should be weighed to accurately calculate the dose. Choose the dose according to the heaviest animal by liveweight in each group.Do not under-dose. Check the accuracy of drenching guns regularly.

DOSE RATE: Cattle 1 mL per 50 kg bodyweight. Heavier animals should receive an additional 1mL for each 50kg over 650 kg bodyweight

Withholding Periods

MILK: Milk intended for sale for human consumption must be discarded during treatment and for 14 days following the last treatment

MEAT: Cattle producing meat and offal for human consumption must not be sold for slaughter either during treatment or within 28 days of the last treatment.

BOBBY CALVES: born to treated cows must not be sold for slaughter either during or within 28 days following the last treatment of the cow

Where intramuscular injection may have occurred, animals producing meat or offal for human consumption must not be sold for slaughter during or within 91 days of treatment.
